Nonetheless, today, Google released its Holiday 100, a report on the top 100 most-sought products in 2023, if you want even more ideas.
According to Google, search interest for a “human dog bed” spiked more than 1,650%, and the Cozyberry Candle Warmer has been the top-trending item in the interior decor category for the last 12 months. Clearly, people are tired and want better ways to relax and unwind — where’s the lie? On the other hand, people must be going out in style! Search interest for “lab-grown diamond tennis necklaces” doubled this year.

1. Shark Hyper Air Ionic Hair Dryer, $179.99
According to Google’s report, searches for the Shark Hairdryer tripled this year. The brand’s standard hairdryer is the least expensive option, but for $20 more, you can get its Shark SpeedStyle RapidGloss Finisher and High-Velocity Hair Dryer for $199. Either way, these hair tools are powerful.
2. Dagne Dover Dakota Neoprene Backpack, $155 – $215
People are loving Dagne Dover’s neoprene backpack this year. The backpack comes in three sizes and up to 11 colors, but note that the medium fits most 13-inch laptops.
3. Stanley The Quencher H2.0 Flowstate 40-Ounce Tumbler, $45
You can’t go anywhere — on TikTok, for a walk outside, a drive to Target — without seeing someone with a Stanley tumbler. Google searches for the brand’s 40-ounce cup quadrupled over the last year.
4. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine, $24
Dry, chapped lips be gone! Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is a favorite amongst TikTokers, beauty buffs and those who just want softer lips. The silky smooth balm comes in seven colors, including a new sweet mint flavor.

Solo Stove first gained popularity during the pandemic with its smokeless firepits. Since then, the brand has expanded to make pizza ovens, camp stoves, patio heaters and more. Like the Stanley tumbler, you probably saw an equal amount of people wearing a Lululemon belt bag this year. It’s easy to stuff, convenient to wear, and, of course, stylish. Get it in 12 colors for $38.
8. Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag, Medium Size, $195
On the other hand, the top trending tote bag brand of the year was Marc Jacobs. Head over to the brand’s website to find all the available colors and sizes. Snag the medium size for weekend outings, or the large size that fits a laptop for office-to-dinner days and traveling.

Google searches for mini crochet kits doubled this year. One favorite brand is Woobles, which makes DIY kits for small crocheted animals. They’re perfect for kids who like a DIY activity and adults looking for a fun, little stress reliever.
10. Stuart Weitzman 5050 Boots, $795
Stuart Weitzman is one of those legacy brands that will probably be around forever. Why? The comfortable, celeb-approved shoes look stylish and are high-quality, making them a worthy investment.
